Multi-tenant SaaS on the Microsoft stack, mostly in healthcare — always close to the code. Three companies co-founded, one acquired, four platforms live in production today.
I own the roadmap, the budget, the vendor contracts, and the security posture. I am also responsible for innovation, design of the API/integrations, and review the pull request.
Most of my career has been spent in healthcare technology, where the constraints are real: HIPAA and PCI compliance, multi-tenant isolation, deliverability at scale, and startup budgets that leave no room for architectural waste. I've rebuilt legacy platforms into modern .NET Core systems, moved infrastructure to Azure, stood up CI/CD in Azure DevOps, and embedded AI agents into both products and the delivery pipeline itself.
Sixteen of those years have been spent leading — hiring and mentoring engineers, setting the standards, and staying close enough to the work to know whether those standards are actually holding. I like small, high-trust teams.

A white-labeled "food as medicine" platform that helps healthcare and wellness organizations engage their audiences with personalized, credible nutrition content — recipes and guidance spanning 50+ health conditions, allergies, and dietary preferences, delivered through branded landing pages featuring the client's own dietitians and staff. In addition, dieticians have their own portal where they can prescriptively assign healthy recipes for their clients.
I own the architecture, the build, and the cloud delivery of the multi-tenant SaaS platform, including AI integration for recipe personalization, content generation, and audience targeting. Day to day that means translating clinical and nutrition goals into product features that a non-technical client can actually run.

Co-founded to solve two long-standing conference marketing problems at once: protecting attendee lists from misuse, while still letting exhibitors and sponsors reach those attendees effectively. Attendee addresses stay hidden, send limits are enforced, and organizers keep oversight of every message.
I architected and built the multi-tenant platform end to end on .NET 10 — Web API, a Windows service for delivery, and the SQL Server data layer — owning it hands-on from database to UI. AI is embedded in campaign creation, content generation, and internal tooling. The platform is now trusted by major conferences to grow sponsor revenue while safeguarding attendee data.

The one venture here I didn't co-found — I joined it and rebuilt the technology and operational support processes. Private Health News delivers digital engagement for healthcare organizations through two products: My Health e-News™, a consumer e-newsletter personalized to the topics each patient chooses, and MedNews Plus™, a physician and nurse engagement platform carrying breaking specialty news, plus accredited CME/CE credit.
As hands-on architect and lead developer I rebuilt the multi-tenant SaaS products on .NET Core, C#, REST APIs, SQL Server, and Clean Architecture. I designed the enterprise email delivery platform that sends more than two million personalized messages a month, led Azure adoption and the Azure DevOps CI/CD migration, moved email to Microsoft 365, and established InfoSec policy on the CIS Controls framework. On the business side I've owned the IT budget, renegotiated data center, agency, and software contracts, and acted as the primary technical contact for clients and prospects.

A healthcare technology startup built to help seniors age in place and to support the family caregivers around them: home modification recommendations, fall-risk assessment, QuickCare Tips™, Healthcare Navigators™, and personalized newsletters — including "senior persona" algorithms used to predict and mitigate fall risk. Acquired by Family First Corp in July 2021.
I built the SaaS application from the ground up on the Microsoft stack — architecture, design, and full-stack development — on a lean startup budget, with flexible content management, personalization, and engagement capabilities layered on scalable APIs and data models. I also supported sales meetings technically and presented at the American Society on Aging conference on functional and environmental factors involved in ""aging in place"".
